    Samantha Meadows-Candidate for US House District 2

    Samantha, the Democratic Nominee for the U.S. House of Representatives in Ohio's 2nd Congressional District, embodies the values of Freedom, Opportunity, and Justice in her campaign.

    Issues:

    Supports Women’s Reproductive Rights & Freedom

    Workers’ Rights & Collective Bargaining

    Protecting & Funding Public Education

    Immigration Reform

    Her unwavering support for lower and middle-income workers has garnered endorsements from prominent organizations including the (UMWA), (AFGE), (OAPSE AFSCME Local 4), (AFSCME) Council 8, Ohio AFL-CIO, Cincinnati Labor Council (CLC-AFL-CIO), (IBEW) 575, the Greater Cincinnati UAW CAP Council, and the (USW) 1.

     

    She is 52 years old and never held public office. She ran for Congress in 2022, successfully winning the Democratic Nomination.

     

    Samantha has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Human Services and has gained diverse work experiences as a Membership Manager for the Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland, Medical Billing Supervisor, EMT-I, and AmeriCorps Member, & End of Life Companion.She is currently dedicated to campaigning full-time.

    Tracey McCullough-Candidate for Ohio House District 63

    In 1987, Tracey started working at Clermont County Public Library at the Doris Wood branch in Batavia where, among other duties, she drove the bookmobile to Marathon, Edenton, Owensville, Newtonsville, Goshen, and Felicity. During her 33 years at the library, Tracey was promoted to the position of manager of programming. One of her greatest achievements was training, mentoring and supporting youth and adult programmers to create programs for their branches, schools, and retirement communities. Tracey was the go-to Summer Reading creator at the library for almost 20 years. The last summer reading program at the time of her retirement reached almost 10,000 individuals. Tracey was an integral part in the unionization of her workplace which unionized in 2022.

    Kate Nunnelley-Candidate for Ohio House District 90

    Kate Nunnelley stands as a beacon of commitment and passion for the well-being of small towns and their residents. With a rich background in customer service spanning over a decade, Kate has cultivated a deep understanding of the essence of public service. She firmly believes that a true representative's role is to work tirelessly for the people, embodying the values of dedication and responsiveness.

     

    Holding an Associate's degree in Business from Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC), Kate's educational journey reflects her commitment to foundational knowledge and practical skills. Her pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) further demonstrates her dedication to understanding the diverse needs and complexities of human behavior and societal dynamics.

     

    As a candidate for State Representative, hailing from the close-knit community of Manchester, Ohio, Kate's platform is built on a foundation of key pillars essential for community growth and well-being. Her advocacy for government transparency is not just a policy stance but a commitment to ensuring that the workings of the government are open and accountable to the people it serves.

     

    Education and mental health support stand at the forefront of her campaign, highlighting the critical need for accessible and quality education and robust mental health resources. Kate's vision extends to fostering community building and youth empowerment, recognizing that the strength of a community lies in its people, especially the younger generation.

     

    A staunch supporter of environmental conservation, Kate Nunnelley understands the importance of preserving natural resources for future generations.     Shane Marcum-Candidate for Ohio Senate District 14

     

    Shane Marcum (Age 31) is a blue collar worker who has had enough. Spending years work as a janitor and with people of mental disabilities, briefly served with the U.S. Marine Corps. He has look from the bottom up at the problems ignored by Columbus in lower Ohio. "It's time we stop putting career politicians in office. We have more choice then we realize but people have lowered their standards. Which has led to the sorry state we are in. It's time we the people stand and rebuild. Let's show America that the river valley that built it is back."
